Children & Youth Law Clinic: Provides legal services for children in the foster care system (in dependency, mental health, disability, education, immigration and other matters), and engages in law reform litigation, legislative and policy advocacy. Additionally, this clinic provides training and technical assistance for lawyers, judges, and other professionals on substantive children’s law, lawyering skills and professional ethics. The clinic also participates in interdisciplinary research and produces legal scholarship and training materials on diverse issues concerning children in the legal system; and Community Health Rights Education Clinic: provides legal education, advice and advocacy in the areas of health rights, public benefits, education, permanency planning, housing and immigration. Students staff offices in three medical settings.
