In Broward County, Brittany Brooks will provide trauma-informed civil legal services and outreach to assist female veterans reintegrate into civilian life and access resources vital to their financial and medical security. Brooks graduated from Florida International University College of Law in 2020.

Anne Piervil will provide direct legal services through a Medical Legal Partnership with a community health clinic serving Haitian farmworkers in Central Florida to improve workrelated social determinants of health. Piervil graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in 2019.

Daniela Donoso will create a community-connected immigration law program to serve immigrants who are low-income and/or victims of crime. She will establish client, case, outreach, and education protocols, procedures & resources for LSNF staff. Donoso graduateed from Florida State University College of Law in 2020. Donoso is jointly sponsored by Greenberg Traurig and the Foundation.

Melissa Lipnick will engage in individual and systemic advocacy to expand access and address barriers to Medicaid home health care to enable more low-income Florida seniors to stay safely at home and out of nursing homes. The pandemic has exacerbated the need for these services. Lipnick graduated from the University of Miami School of Law.

Janielle McPhail will provide holistic legal services for the veteran population in rural Ocala to create systemic change and offer stability. The project will use outreach, pro bono services and advocacy to increase public benefits and veteran benefits. McPhail graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Oliver Telusma’s fellowship is designed to prevent COVID-fueled evictions of residential renters and small businesses at high rish of displacement in South Florida through direct legal services, policy advocacy and movement lawyering. Telusma graduated from Florida A&M University School of Law.

Vanessa Coe – Florida Legal Services, Migrant Farmworker Justice Project, Lake Worth. Represent H-2B guestworkers in employment disputes in the hospitality, landscaping, carnival and horse-racing industries.
