Jacksonville lawyer Joe Jacquot appointed to FFLA board of directors

The Florida Supreme Court has appointed Jacksonville lawyer Joe Jacquot to the board of directors of FFLA for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2024.

JacquotJacquot is a business litigation shareholder with Gunster. Previously, Jacquot served as the general counsel to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and as Florida’s chief deputy attorney general. He also served as the deputy chief counsel for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, managing the confirmations of Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito. He was also a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy.

Jacquot earned his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
