FFLA has appointed Miami lawyer Patrick Montoya to its board of directors for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2024.
Montoya is a senior partner at Milberg, where he practices in the areas of class action lawsuits, defective products and environmental and toxic torts litigation. He earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.
Montoya currently serves on the board of directors of the Cuban American Bar Association. He is a past president of the Inns of Courts Chapter, Dade County Chapter. In 2022, he was appointed to the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions in Civil Cases. Montoya received the 2017 Honorable Theodore “Ted” Klein Award from the Miami-Dade chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
