New members join FFLA Board of Directors

FFLA has six designated directors, including the president of Florida Legal Services, the president, president-elect and immediate past president of The Florida Bar, and two judicial officers. Eighteen at-large directors serve a maximum of two three-year terms, with one-third selected by the Florida Supreme Court, one-third by The Florida Bar Board of Governors and one-third by FFLA’s board. Up to four public members also serve three-year terms.

Directors award grants, oversee fundraising, set policies and adopt the annual budget. The board can be contacted at BoardofDirectors@FundingFLA.org.

brownleeHon. Paetra T. Brownlee is a Sixth District Court of Appeal judge. She was appointed as an FFLA designated director by The Florida Supreme Court.
gilesDeborah C. Giles is a mediator with the Eighth Judicial Circuit Court in Gainesville. She was appointed as a public member by FFLA and The Florida Bar.
jacquotJoe Jacquot, Esq. is a business litigation shareholder with Gunster in Jacksonville. The Florida Supreme Court appointed him as an at-large director of FFLA.
montoyaPatrick S. Montoya, Esq. is a senior partner at Milberg in Miami. FFLA appointed him as an at-large director.
ozarowskiMagdalena Ozarowski, Esq. is Of Counsel at Ausley
McMullen in Tallahassee. She was appointed by The Florida Bar to FFLA's board as an at-large director.
douglasreynoldsDouglas H. Reynolds, Esq. is a litigation partner with Tripp Scott, PA. in Ft. Lauderdale. He was appointed as an at-large director by FFLA.
Raychelle A. Tasher, Esq. is an assistant U.S. attorney at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida. FFLA appointed her as an at-large director.
WinokurHon. Thomas D. Winokur is a First District Court of
Appeal judge. He was appointed as an FFLA designated director by The Florida Supreme Court.
