Schwarz appointed to Foundation board

In December 2023, The Florida Bar Foundation changed its name to FFLA. Posts prior to this date contain our former name.

Jacksonville nonprofit governance consultant James Schwarz has been appointed as a public member to serve a three-year term on the board of The Florida Bar Foundation, a statewide charitable organization whose mission is to provide greater access to justice.

James Schwarz

Schwarz has served as president of Compass Development and Governance Group since 1991, where he works with business and nonprofit leaders to achieve their strategic goals.

He graduated from The College of William and Mary in Virginia with a bachelor’s in business administration.
