The Safe Path initiative uses litigation and community advocacy in an integrated, systemic approach to reduce school and community-based arrests and increase educational opportunities for youth.

The CLC will provide high quality legal representation to children in care while ensuring that each age-appropriate child is afforded a high quality early education.

To provide critically needed legal representation, via staff attorneys and pro bono attorneys, including appellate advocacy and systemic advocacy to foster youth age 13 to 23.

Direct representation of children in dependency court and in immigration law cases as well as education policy advocacy on behalf of children classified as English Language Learners

Multi-pronged approach to assisting youth with transition from institutions to communities, connecting them with service providers at release & supporting policy changes to increase access to benefits

Providing legal representation to children with health care access or special education issues.

Children’s Systemic Initiative seeks statewide systemic improvements to Florida’s child-caring systems through a variety of methods.

To provide specialized legal services, education and advocacy on behalf of undocumented immigrant children in the Tampa Bay area.

To provide systemic advocacy and legal representation to ensure disadvantaged and disabled K-12 public school students receive due process and equal access to appropriate educational opportunities

Legal advocacy for developmentally disabled foster youth: early detection & delivery of services specific to disability; school legislative & ADP eligibility advocacy; appeals, cost plan disputes.

CLRP continues to be a comprehensive children’s advocacy project that provides a systematized coordinated approach to advocating, monitoring, overseeing and collaborating on the needs of children.

A statewide project to improve educational services to low income children through a statewide systemic case, assisting CLS grantees in their cases, and training to attorneys, advocates and parents.
