Affordable Housing Program: To effect changes on a statewide level for the improvements in policies that affect Florida’s low-income, moderate-income and special needs populations, by influencing state housing and growth management legislation, planning policies, housing delivery programs, and administrative rules.

Staff Counsel Project: To increase the case load throughout the state and broaden the array of cases taken; expand and better utilize the volunteer cooperating attorneys; establish unique principles of law as they relate to the ability of Florida Courts to redress civil right violations.

Florida Child Advocacy Initiatives: To expand the impact of the Florida Children’s Campaign; expand their ability to disseminate their publications to a wider audience; to promote the ability of staff to provide technical assistance to appointed commissions, task forces, and committees; and to expand their ability to promote the children’s advocacy agenda before civic, business, professional, religious and governmental groups

History of the Supreme Court of Florida: To produce and publish a definitive history of the Florida Supreme Court, beginning with the territorial courts of appeals and continuing with the history of the Supreme Court of Florida from statehood in 1845 to the present.

Bar Exam Study: To conduct a study into the certification of minority students, with a special focus on whether the current structure or administration of the bar exam presents a level playing field for all students or alternatively, whether unintended, unfair obstacles to entry to the profession are implicated for individuals of color.

Community Coordinator/Aftercare Program: The Aftercare Program will employ a full time community coordinator who will provide continued support and counseling for the youth and his/her family, assist the youth with job placement, establish a job bank, utilize community resources and organize and maintain an alumni association.

Children First: Through a unique joint venture agreement among two legal services providers, two law schools, a school of medicine, and a local bar association, Children First: A Partnership of Law, Medicine and Education, proposes to establish a statewide center for the advancement of children’s legal rights in concert with the enhancement of their medical and educational needs.
