To improve the administration of justice in Florida through law-related education projects targeted primarily to elementary and secondary school students to heightened public awareness and practical understanding of our laws and legal institutions.

Victims of Domestic Violence Planning Workshop: One day conference to bring together representatives from Florida domestic violence centers and legal aid providers to jointly develop regional plans for the effective delivery of legal assistance to victims of domestic violence.

Sesquicentennial Celebration: In celebration of the Florida Supreme Court’s 150th birthday, the Sesquicentennial Committee will present substantive programs designed to educate the public on the Court’s role in the administration of justice in the State of Florida.

Access to the Courts: A conference to train administrative and technical staff for the judicial circuits to (1) educate them on creating and maintaining Internet home pages, and (2) develop a uniform format for court home pages to be used statewide.

Supervised Visitation Project: To provide supervised visitation for low income parents with their minor children.

Emergency Funding: To purchase classroom furniture to furnish eight modular classrooms. TMI’s classrooms were destroyed by a fire.

AOJ Summer Fellowship Program – For three law student fellows to gain significant civil legal experience working with AOJ grantees.

Constitution Revision Project – Phase 3 – For continued support of the Consitution Revision Project which promotes Public Education and Understanding about the Law.
