Community Empowerment for Children 1995: To expand the impact of the Florida Children’s Campaign, to hold elected officials accountable for the quality of life of Florida’s children and families; expand the Center’s county-based network through the recruitment of volunteers and allies and by providing leadership and guidance for local activities; expand the ability of the Center to disseminate its publications to a wider audience; expand the membership base of the Center; expand the Center’s ability to promote the children’s advocacy agenda; and provide regional and national leadership in child advocacy associations and coalition. A major new goal is to establish the Juvenile Justice Advocacy Project which will emphasize services to at-risk youth.
